This was a very thorough and well-researched presentation of a fascinatingly disturbing period in American history - the Japanese American uprooting during WWII. The title is a little misleading - the uprooting only takes up about half the book, while the first half is a summary of Chinese and Japanese history, particularly in relation to the US/5. Asymmetry is the absence of, or a violation of, symmetry (the property of an object being invariant to a transformation, such as reflection). Symmetry is an important property of both physical and abstract systems and it may be displayed in precise terms or in more aesthetic terms.
Unfortunately, judging by his latest book, this second Mr Taleb now predominates.
